Work clothes don't have to be boring

Stuck on what to wear for work?

I thought I'd put some outfits together for inspo. Don't be afraid to inject some colour and patterns into your work outfits because work clothes don't actually have to be boring.

If you work somewhere were uniforms are provided or there's a strict dress code then don't worry because you still may get some inspiration. These outfits are versatile and can be worn dressed up or down for many other occasions too.

Take a look...

Look 1

This is a simple way to inject a little bit of colour and texture into an outfit. A black buttoned up blouse tucked into a high waisted dogtooth skirt is classic and simple but there's a pop of colour with the blue, a ring/pearl detail on the waist and I've added a metallic bag.  Simple but definitely not boring :) Shop the items below:

I love mixing colours and prints so this spotty blouse/dress and olive green jacket work perfect together. I've added a distressed brown western belt to the waist and I'd wear this with tapered black trousers or thick black tights and some Doc Martens. Shop the items below:

Look 3

This is a more casual/cosey outfit, maybe for those who work in an office day to day! A black dress cinched in at the waist, with an oversized grey cardigan, dainty necklace, black tights and snake print bag to add a bit of texture. Wear with some comfy flats or chunky shoes/boots. This is definitely one for the brave. Very bold and out there and probably not suitable for all work places but I'm thinking fashion workplaces/hairdressers, some offices etc will for sure get away with this. This can be styled SO many ways. And I feel with leopard print you can literally pair any colour or clashing print and it will just work. It's my leopard print suit of dreams. Shop the items below:

More of a sophisticated kind of look. This is probably one that most could wear at their workplaces. A longline black blazer, high waisted black skirt, a leopard print blouse tucked in and again finished cinching in the waist with a belt. You could wear this with or without tights and team with heels, flats/chunky shoes. All would look good! This outfit would also look amazing teamed with many different coloured blazers, so don't be scared to shake it up a bit and inject some colour.

And that rounds up my workwear fashion ideas. Don't be afraid to try new things and come out of your comfort zone with clothes.
